Corrosion prediction and trending

Coabis™ has integral corrosion trending and prediction functions. Corrosion prediction utilises De Waard and Milliams and NORSOK standards, including presence of inhibitors, CO2 and H2S.

Corrosion rate trending uses actual wall thickness results, trending the values through alarm levels to estimated failure date.

Inspection intervals

Recommended inspection frequencies are calculated using quantitative and qualitative methods.

Wall thickness calculations

Coabis™ calculates nominal and minimum allowable wall thicknesses, using industry-standards.

Small bore connections

Small bore connections can be identified and quickly listed using Coabis™

Dead leg and temporary Repairs

Areas classed as dead legs or subject to temporary repairs can be quickly and easily listed using Coabis™.

Coabis™ has a 25-year track record of managing inspection and integrity for structures.

Benefits

  • Optimise inspection, maintenance and repair programmes

  • Aids demonstration of third-party verification

  • Fast and simple workscope creation

  • Uses existing client procedures and codings

  • Fast data entry

  • Web-based reporting - myCoabis

  • Data validation

  • Immediate anomaly alerting, tracking and auditing

  • Range of powerful reports and Interfaces with third-party maintenance software

Tasks, procedures and workscopes

Tasks and procedures are operations performed on components. Using its workpack generation wizard, Coabis™ works with your existing procedures, enabling detailed workscopes to be prepared quickly and accurately.

Components and tags

Uniquely identify items upon which inspections are performed- e.g. clamps, welds, pipework.

Coabis™ has a 30-year track record of managing inspection, integrity and operations for offshore and underwater structures and equipment.

Benefits

  • Optimise inspection, maintenance and repair programmes

  • Can be usead at multiple sites simultaneously - onshore and offshore

  • Aids demonstration of third-party verification

  • Fast and simple workscope creation

  • Uses existing client procedures and codings

  • Fast data entry

  • Digital video interface

  • Web-based reporting - myCoabis

Reduce offshore costs

Coabis™ streamlines the inspection data-gathering process. On-site operations planning coupled with real-time data entry and validation enables work to be completed more quickly, whilst quality of data is maintained.

Tasks, procedures and workscopes

Tasks and procedures are operations performed on components. Using its workpack generation wizard, Coabis™ works with your existing procedures, enabling detailed workscopes to be prepared quickly and accurately.

Work onshore and offshore simultaneously

Coabis™ can also be used simultaneously by multiple users at separate sites, synchronising data at each location using in-built tools. Onshore users can continue to edit and review data, at the same time as resuls are being entered offshore.

Digital video

Offshore, data recorders can easily add video clips and photos during data entry. Video is accessible immediately to all Coabis™ workstations onboard the vessel.

Onshore, video can be quickly and easily replayed and shared between personnel.

Coabis Digital Video works with NETmc Marine, Digital Edge and Sub-C Imaging video encoders.

Aker Solutions has a 25-year track record of developing software to manage pipeline survey data.

That track record has provided Coabis™ with a pipeline survey reporting module for import and review of pipeline survey results, including anomalies and digital video.

Benefits

  • Pipeline data library

  • Survey feature/incident definition

  • Anomaly criteria by pipeline and KP

  • GIS interface for mapping reports

  • Digital video replay

  • Anomaly alerting, tracking and auditing

  • Import survey data from any source - independent of survey company

Survey data import

Coabis™ has no provision for logging pipeline survey results. Instead, we believe it is more efficient to allow your survey contractor to gather the survey data in the most efficient manner using their own survey logging tools. Once the survey is complete, the data simply needs to be exported in an Excel format for import into Coabis.

Web reporting

All pipeline data can be reviewed and edited using myCoabis.

Anomaly Tracking

Tasks and procedures are operations performed on components. Using its workpack generation wizard, Coabis™ works with your existing procedures, enabling detailed workscopes to be prepared quickly and accurately.

GIS reporting

Survey results can be plotted onto maps. You can also locate incidents nearby user-input coordinates.

Digital video

Survey video can be quickly and easily replayed and shared between personnel.

myCoabis is an online accompaniment to Coabis™. It is a fully web-based, interactive system that can run on a company intranet or extranet. It enables engineers and other interested parties to easily access and report on inspection information held in Coabis™.

myCoabis is implemented and configured to your exact requirements. Data from other applications can be integrated into Coabis.web - for example, display maintenance system work orders alongside Coabis anomaly reports.

Benefits

  • Simple and intuitive interface - as easy as web-browsing

  • Specialist training is not required

  • It's live! Pages and content are dynamically created in real-time

  • Simple to deploy

  • No additional software is required

  • Client-specific development - get the reports and functions that you need

Easy to Use

Accessing Coabis™ data through a web browser is as simple as browsing the internet or a company intranet. No special training is needed.

Secure

There is no possibility of data being modified when accessed via myCoabis, unless security is granted by means of a username and password.

Live system

myCoabis accesses live data contained in the Coabis™ database. It enables immediate browser access for other company personnel to review inspection and integrity data as it is entered into Coabis.

Simple navigation

Navigation around myCoabis is simple. Users can jump to and from pages, retrace paths, bookmark key pages for quick access later, and so on. For example, from an anomaly list, users can click component IDs to review generic or specific details, review associated drawings and inspection history, password, etc.
